Apostle Dr. Yvonne
Lee-Wilson has served in the Full Gospel Ministry for over 30 years and has
been charged with a call from the Lord to teach, train with application and
send the people forth to do a work for the Lord.
Apostle Wilson comes
from a family with a strong Christian background. She is the second of nine children and her
mother Evangelist Lois Lee has been very instrumental in keeping her focused on
the call God has for her life.
Apostle Wilson operates
under the Five-Fold Body ministry and gives her Apostolic support to
congregations throughout the City of Chicago, surrounding suburbs, Wisconsin,
Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Kansas and other ministries abroad. She is a living witness that God heals broken
bones, minds and wounded spirits. Her
statement of faith is “The spirit of the Lord is upon me.” (Isaiah 61:1)
Many steadfast leaders
have encouraged Apostle Wilson down through the years, but none have been as
influential as Evangelist Rose Jones and Bishop Arthur M. Cofield. Both of these vessels have transitioned into
glory, but before they released their mantles upon her, they encouraged her to continue
to win souls for Christ and above all remain a committed vessel for the Lord.
Apostle Wilson founded
the Real Women of God Fellowship in
1986 because of a need to see women step out of the shadows and into the
marvelous light that God has ordained for them.
She felt a pull in the spirit to be a support for all women who needed
help both naturally and spiritually. The
ministry has grown, but it yet remains faithful to its main mission of helping
those who are in need.
Apostle Wilson opened
the doors of the Body of Christ
Deliverance Ministries in 1994 on Christmas Day, where she was installed
into the office of Senior Pastor under the governance of Bishop Arthur M.
Cofield and the Evangelical Temple Board.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Chicago State University and her
Masters in Biblical Studies, Doctorate of Divinity, Doctorate of Pastoral
Counseling and Doctorate of Theology from Hope Bible Institute and Seminary. She is also a Board Certified Life Coach. Over the years, she has received many
certificates, accolades and awards with the most recent two being the
Presidential Scholar Award from Hope Bible College & Seminary and the Woman
of the Year Award with Living Word Deliverance Temple of the Apostolic Faith.
Apostle Wilson is also a
full time Social Worker for Catholic Charities where she services the needs of
teen mothers and their children. As a
result of her passion for helping women, God has given her a vision to open a
home for young women where they can be nurtured and taught to be good mothers
and productive individuals.
Apostle Wilson is
married to Adelbert Wilson and has three daughters; Shantina, Taneshia and (Tarina
-called home in 2003). She is a
grandmother of eight; Phillip Jr., Evelene, Jaleel, Amber, Brittany, Brianna,
Justin and (Jene’-called home in 1999) and great-grandmother of three (Kennydi,
Kaelyn & Kimora). In 2008, Apostle
Wilson, authored her first book, “The
Rise and Fall of Women in Ministry,” which is a book that teaches us that
it is necessary to fall into the hands of the Lord so that we may rise to our
destiny in him. Above all her titles,
accolades and accomplishments, her greatest quest, is that souls not only be
saved, but that they be used of and by God to Advance His Kingdom.
